Muriel Mergle

Muriel was 17 years old when she started her 5-year diary in 1941 as a high school student in Brooklyn, New York. The diary tells the story of how she met and fell in love with her future husband, Graham “Gray” Slodden, before he left for WWII. They were married for 65 years.
