Annabelle’s Transcript: Diary #1
Diary #1 spans January 1st to October 4th, 1936 and January 1st to January 11th, 1938. Below is a transcript of the whole diary with my annotations along the side. If I was unsure of a word, I used the * symbol. I always kept the spelling that she used. Some of the people are explained in Annabelle’s The People page.

Baked a cake in morning. Afternoon got two pairs of pants from Pa went uptown got a beer and got a ride home from Claude Mick*. Eve went to show with Jean + Betty.
